About Sekolah Bisa
Sekolah Bisa is an educational initiative based in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is a part of the British School Jakarta (BSJ) community work program. The program aims to provide quality education and support to underprivileged children in local communities.
Collaboration

Sekolah Bisa, which means "School Can" in Indonesian, focuses on empowering children from low-income backgrounds by offering them access to education, resources, and opportunities. The program believes that every child deserves a chance to learn and grow, regardless of their socio-economic background.

Through Sekolah Bisa, volunteers and staff members from the British School Jakarta work together to establish learning centers in disadvantaged areas. These centers provide academic support, extracurricular activities, and mentoring to children who may not have access to formal education or adequate learning environments.

The program also emphasizes community engagement and collaboration. It encourages BSJ students and staff to actively participate in volunteering activities, such as tutoring, organizing educational events, and providing assistance to the Sekolah Bisa centers. By involving the wider community, Sekolah Bisa aims to create a sustainable and inclusive educational environment.
